Charles J. Bubeck - Founder, President & CEO
Charles BubeckWith almost 40 years experience in the computer industry, Mr. Bubeck is an active entrepreneur in the regional technology marketplace. After initially beginning computer science studies at the University of Maryland and then holding various engineering and sales positions, he founded Columbia Micro Systems in 1981. He then joined Apple Computer and helped launch the original Macintosh® computer in 1984. While at Apple, Mr. Bubeck’s various roles included management of east coast Systems Engineering and helping direct and manage enterprise project and technical support initiatives. Immediately following his ten-year career at Apple, he launched Ease Technologies along with several former Apple employees in the summer of 1993.  Beginning with four initial employees and together with Mr. Bubeck’s leadership and experience, Ease has grown to be recognized as an important high tech innovator in the region for the past two decades. Mr. Bubeck also founded and served as CEO of former Ease subsidiaries Easetech Financial Systems, LLC and StarLaw, LLC, which developed and marketed enterprise software systems to the financial and legal markets and were subsequently acquired by Reuters and Aderant Software respectively. He currently serves as Chairman of the Howard County Tech Council Advisory Board where he also facilitates a Leadership Roundtable and was appointed to the Downtown Columbia Partnership Advisory Board.

David Kile - Senior Vice President
Dave KileWith over 25 years of experience in the computing industry, Mr. Kile is one of the original founders of Ease Technologies. He has served in both technical and non-technical positions for the organization including Marketing, Director of Software Development and Infrastructure, and Business Development. Mr. Kile holds a B.A. in Geography from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with studies in Computer Sciences and Finance. He served as a board member of the Howard Technology Council and is a Member of the Howard Community College Technology Advisory Board. Mr. Kile was CEO and founder of Alpha Technologies Group, a multimedia information services company, a Systems Consultant with Clancy Paul and Associates, as well as held various technical and business development positions with Apple Computer, Inc.

Jason Shirdon – Vice President
Jason ShirdonJason currently directs the Managed Services Teams at Ease Technologies. Jason has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Throughout his career at Ease, he has focused primarily on small and medium size businesses, bringing them enterprise class technology at affordable prices. He continues to provide proactive leadership on numerous IT consulting projects with a focus on networking, e-mail, server, and integration of numerous cloud based solutions. 


Matt Schmidt – Vice President
Matt SchmidtMatt has been with Ease Technologies for over a decade and a half and currently manages the Help Desk Teams at various education institutions.  Matt brings a wealth of experience to his role focused on technology in education, which he has successfully honed for over 20 years.  Matt also helps lead and manage the company’s infrastructure consulting business and plays an active role in helping lead the firm’s Managed Services segment.  During his tenure with Ease, Matt has directed and participated in many high profile technology projects throughout the region and has successfully shared his knowledge and real world experiences assisting many key education institutions both locally and nationwide.
