National Rehabilitation Hospital
National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) specializes in treating persons with physical disabilities caused by spinal cord and head injuries, stroke, arthritis, amputation, multiple sclerosis, post-polio syndrome, and other neurological and orthopedic conditions. The network provides nearly 200,000 ambulatory visits annually in addition to the hospital’s more than 1,700 inpatient admissions.
Challenge
NRH needed a comprehensive web-presence that would bring clinicians, local and international patients, and their medical records together in new ways to foster improved care and a superior patient experience.
Solution
Ease developed a new Content Management System (CMS) with updated Information Architecture. The new system has significantly improved the overall hospital-patient experience and enhanced patient-medical team communication. Document availability and access (i.e. patient discharge summaries) have also been improved, along with enhanced resources for patient information and treatment.
